Text of report by Iraqi Al-Sharqiyah TV on 10 September

The Sunni Waqf Bureau has condemned the sectarian liquidation committed by armed militias and death squads which target civilians in Al-Hurriyah, north of Baghdad. In a statement received by Al-Sharqiyah, the bureau urged the Iraqi government to intervene to halt daily murders which Al-Hurriyah city has been witnessing and which have been targeting between five to seven people on a daily basis, who are victims of this sectarian liquidation.

The statement warned against allowing those elements to have a free hand in the city, emphasizing the need to halt the bloodshed there.

An armed group murdered six grocers in the popular market of the city yesterday.
